About Mandy
When you first meet Mandy, her infectious smile is one of the first things you notice, but what really leaves an impression is her enthusiasm. Mandy strives to be the best massage therapist possible. If you ask her clients they will tell you she has succeeded. Her extensive knowledge of the human body and skilled use of a variety of massage techniques has made her one of Body First's most requested massage therapists. Mandy enjoys interacting with people. In fact, given the opportunity she can interact in conversational Spanish.
Why Mandy became a massage therapist
Since the seventh grade Mandy Ebert had the dream to be a massage therapist. She has always had a desire to help others. Fortunately for Body First and countless clients she followed her dream. Choosing to have a more individualized approach to her training Mandy decided to undergo an intensive 1000 hour apprenticeship under Douglas Sellers (owner and founder of Body First).
Mandy and Sports Massage
From running, working out, or the occasional jiu jitsu practice, Mandy enjoys being active. Her experience as an athlete and physically active person gives her a deeper understanding of the demands of physical activity. This knowledge and insight has helped Mandy work effectively with a variety of athletes to help them. She has extensive experience working with all types of athletes including: runners, track and field athletes, volleyball players, mixed martial artists and more. Mandy has aided countless athletes find relief from overuse and exertion of muscles, experience reduction in muscle tension, alleviate the stress of competition and aid in the recovery process from minor injuries.
Additional Information
In addition to her experience working with athletes, she also has experience working with individuals with spinal cord injuries and limited mobility and chronic pain sufferers. Her knowledge and experience dealing with pain management has benefited numerous clients. Mandy wants everyone to experience the benefits of massage. She offers a wide variety of appointment times including evening appointments. Mandy tends to fill available appointment times quickly so we suggest you call for an appointment several days ahead or you can also choose to have a standing appointment.

All the BODY FIRST MASSAGE THERAPY STAFF are certified and have a minimum of 700 credit hours of schooling plus an extensive knowledge of the human anatomy/physiology, and training with numerous massage modalities. In addition Body First encourages all our therapists to complete continueing education on a continueing basis.
