If you wish to schedule an appointment, have questions, or want to stop by and say "hi" please do so during our office hours.

Appointment Hours
Our evening, Friday, and Saturday appointments book very quickly. Though same day appointments are often available it is best to schedule early to guarentee an appointment.

If you are interested in having a standing appointment (i.e. the first Monday of the month at 3 p.m., Every tuesday at 1:45 etc...) please talk to us at the time of your appointment
Are walk-ins and same day appointments available?
Occasionally we will have appointments available for clients/patients who just drop by. However such cases are very rare. We encourage you to call for an appointment. While same day appointments are often available, the sooner you schedule the more likely you will be able to get an appointment that works best for you. Due to an increasing demand for appointments our evening and Saturday appointments often book up a week or more in advance.

How do I schedule an appointment
The easiest way to schedule your first appointment is to call us during regular office hours. You can also schedule at our office before or after your appointment.
Is it possible to have a standing appointment.
Yes. Many clients find that they benefit most from massage therapy when they recieve on a regular basis. If you are interested in have a standing appointment (i.e. every tuesday at 3 pm, the first friday of the month at noon, etc) then please talk to us at your next appointment.

What types of Massage do you offer?
Body First provides a variety of Massage Therapy Services. Our clients visit us for a vaireity of reasons including relaxation, pain management, sports therapy, pregnancy massage, and more.
Our massage therapy staff all have years of experience a extensive training. Their training allows to provide a a variety of modalities and techniques including: myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, acupressure, deep tissue massage. Certain members of our staff also have additional training in Sports Massage and/or Pregnancy Massage .
How much is a massage?

What can I expect during a massage

What do I wear for my appointment.
For your appointment we ask that you undress to your comfort level. At your appointment it is important that you feel relaxed. At Body First all of our therapists use draping that keeps the client covered except for the region they are working on (i.e while the therapist is massaging one leg the other leg and the rest of your body will covered.) Some clients feel comfortable wearing very little underneath the draping while other clients feel more comfortable wearing more.
Can I choose the massage therapist I see?
YES! If you wish to schedule with a particular therapist please let us know at the time when you make the appointment.
FAQ-Chiropractic Care/Acupuncture
Does Dr. Erickson accept insurance?
We are happy to file insurance. Dr. Erickson does participate with many insurance companies. We are happy to work with you if there are balances that insurance does not cover.
Is Chiropractic Care/Acupuncture covered by insurance?
Most insurance compines do have some Chiropracitic coverage. Some may cover Acupuncture. It really depends on the type on insurance the patient has purchased.
What types of techniques does Dr. Erickson use?
Your treatment may include chiropractic adjustments using Diversified, Palmer Package, Thompson, Flexion-Distraction, Activator, and other methods. Myofascial release, massage, heat/cold therapy, acupuncture, acupressure, trigger point therapy and numerous other techniques and modalities may also be incorporated into your treatment.
Are some day appointments available?
While same day appointments are available, we encourage Dr. Erickson's patients to schedule as early as possible to ensure they can get an appointment. Due to an increase in the number of patients and more responsibilities, Dr. Erickson has begun to have a tighter schedule.
How much does an appointment with Dr. Erickson cost?
Chiropractic Treatment Costs
The average chiropractic appointment with Dr. Erickson costs between $35-$70 depending on what treatment(s) you recieve. At your initial appointment includes a physical exam to ensure your safety and the best possible treatment for your condition. The average first visit is usually between $80-$95.
Accupuncture Treatment Costs
The average acupuncture appointment with Dr. Erickson costs $35 depending on what treatment(s) you recieve. At your initial appointment expect a physical exam to ensure your safety and the best possible treatment for your condition. The average first visit is usually between $80-$95.
Sports Physicals
Dr. Erickson is happy to provide sports and school physicals. School and sports physicals cost $25.
KDOT Physicals
Dr. Erickson also provides physicals required by the Kansas Department of Transportation.

What can I expect during my appointment
Your First Appointment
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to your first appointment. If you wish for us to submit health insurance please bring your insurance cared so we can obtain a copy. When you arrive at Body First be prepared to complete some paperwork or you can choose to print the forms at home and complete them prior to your appointment. New chiropractic patients will need:
- completed Chiropractic Patient Health History*
- signed and dated Chiropractic Financial Policy
- signed and dated Chiropractic Patient Informed Consent

Your initial appointment consists of a comprehensive health interview and examination so that your doctor can ensure your safety and determine the best course of treatment for you. No X-ray is generally required during the first visit. This is also an opportunity to ask questions so you feel confident and comfortable with your treatment.
